Capped

I capped on admissions for the first time. It's a novel experience, knowing that I actually cannot admit any more patients. I'm not sure if it's scary or comforting. I do know that I'll probably live to regret it. I usually live to regret things.

that was the first time you've capped? you guys must not be a super busy place then. I think on the wards, I'm usually surprised if we don't cap at both hospitals, and then of course there's no cap on cards or MICU for us either.

I've capped a total of 5 times in residency. I am a super white cloud.

haha.. I now officially hate you. I was a grey-ish white cloud through residency until my month in the MICU where I averaged close to 7-8 admissions night. I think I wanted to kill myself after that month.

I actually had a night on floor call as an intern where the pager didn't go off at all. I checked the battery twice just to be sure. No admits, no floor calls. Spooky
